Dipwich All-American Sandwiches will support Federal Workers, Veterans and a non-profit group Still Serving Vetrans with a Free Sandwich Day on Tuesday, March 5th from 11am to 1pm.
All Federal Workers and Veterans will receive a free Dipwich sandwich when they make a donation, in any amount, to Still Serving Veterans, an organization that assists Veterans in finding employment and securing the benefits that they have earned.
Located in the Redstone Gateway, just outside the Redstone Arsenal’s Gate 9, Dipwich is one of three restaurants operated by the WJP Restaurant Group. “This has been a tough few months for Federal workers, so we wanted to show our appreciation for their service to our country”, WJP’s Vice President of Operations Michael Northern said.
WJP has worked with Still Serving Veterans on other events and is proud to include them on this special day. “This is a way for our Free Sandwich Day to pay it forward”. “Federal Workers and Veterans get a treat and Still Serving Veterans will raise some funds”, Northern said.
Dipwich asks that Federal workers and Veterans bring an ID in order to receive their sandwich. The offer is for one sandwich per person and customers must be present to receive their sandwich.
Dipwich opened in 2016 at the Redstone Gateway, just outside Gate 9 of the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. The brainchild of Bill Post, founder of the WJP Restaurant Group, Dipwich serves a variety of sandwiches each with a signature dipping sauce. Favorites include the Classic Roast Beef, Applewood Smoked Brisket, and the Chickwich Chicken Sandwich. Fresh Salads, Hand-Cut fries, and a selection of beverages round out the menu.
