Half Christmas trees are the newest holiday trend

Look, we’ve all been there.

You spend all-day perfecting the decorations on the side of the tree everyone’s going to see. You wrap the lights around, hang the ornaments just so. And once it’s done, you realize there’s still the entire back of the tree left to decorate. And if you’re like the rest of us, you start throwing up the leftover decorations until it’s done.

But thanks to the newest trend of half Christmas trees, you can now save yourself some time and space this holiday season.

And they are literally just like they sound. A tree sawed in half vertically with a flat back that fits perfectly in the corner of the room or against a wall. Most of them come pre-lit so there’s no need to worry about lights, and they look just as good as a full tree.

You can find them at places like Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes – basically anywhere that sells Christmas trees is bound to carry them.

This newest holiday trend has been gotten increasingly popular over the years as folks find themselves tight on space and short on time.

One article from 2016 stated that online retailer Wayfair saw a 150 percent in half Christmas tree sales in that year alone. And a quick Google search pulls up dozens of articles and Pinterest boards with people showing off their half trees that are full of holiday spirit.

So what do you think? Will you be saving yourself the time and space this year with a half tree?
