Bring the family and start the holidays off right!
Bring the whole family and kick off the holiday season with Christmas in Cullman! The celebrations include a parade and tree lighting ceremony, live music, children’s activities, and pictures with Santa himself!
And this year, Cullman is embracing its German heritage even more with the first-ever Cullman Christkindlmarkt! It’s a traditional German Christmas market featuring stalls of vendors selling unique items, and it’s a perfect way to finish up that holiday shopping.
It all starts December 4th with a parade through historic downtown Cullman. After that, the giant 42 foot tall Christmas tree will be lit at Depot Park in a ceremony involving live music, pictures with Santa, and even snow!
The next weekend, December 11 – 12, the Cullman Christkindlmarkt comes to town. There will be live music, children’s activities, and more all weekend long. And we can’t forget about the 30 foot tall German Christmas pyramid the city added last year. It’s completely made of wood and is one of the largest Christmas pyramids in the country.
So load up the car and make the trip down to Cullman. There’s no better way to get into the Christmas spirit.
