Travis Tritt at the VBC

It will be an energetic night of country music and southern rock as opening for Tritt will be The Cadillac Three followed by The Marshall Tucker Band.  This is not the first time Travis Tritt has performed in Huntsville, and it probably won’t be the last, as he has earned a reputation for putting on a fun show for country music fans in the Valley.

It’s hard to believe that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the Marietta, GA, native first breaking onto the national music scene.  Travis Tritt’s debut single, Country Club, was released in 1989.  In the past three decades, Tritt’s unique voice has sung an impressive list of memorable country hits.  Songs like Help Me Hold On, Anymore, T-R-O-U-B-L-E, Here’s a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares), Where Corn Don’t Grow, and It’s a Great Day to Be Alive.  In recent months, Tritt has been busy starring in reality television.  Travis was a celebrity judge alongside Shania Twain and Jake Owen on the singing competition show, Real Country.
