Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Dancing in the Streets
Friday, 5pm -9pm
It turns out that you don’t need a time machine to travel to 1969. In fact, you can dance your way across the decades this Friday evening at Downtown Huntsville Inc.’s “Dancing In The Streets” event! Come join in as the city center transforms into a fun-filled celebration with free music, a stunning digital mapping display, “moon” ball launch, and many surprises.
Best of all, the event is family-friendly and FREE to the public—even pets are welcome to attend! Just grab your dancing shoes and head to 100 North Side Square where the fun will begin at 5 p.m. and last until 9 p.m.
Summer Concert Series at Insanity
Grab your friends + partner + family + kids and join us for our first ever Insanity Complex Concert Series! Thirsty? Our bar will be open and we will serving up some delicious cocktails. Hungry? Stop by our Concessions stand and pick you up some tasty treats. Need some time away from the kiddos? Let your kids enjoy one of our 7 attractions while you relax with great music! Sounds of Summer Concert Series 2019
The Sounds of Summer Concert Series returns to S.R. Butler Green at Campus No. 805 for four dates in July and August! Come enjoy these FREE shows put on by Yellowhammer Brewing and Straight To Ale Brewing. Grab some food and drinks, and take advantage of the warm Summer weather!
U.S. Space and Rocket Center’s Party of the Year
The U.S. Space and Rocket Center’s annual Rocket City Summer Fest Concert featuring Party of the Year is taking place July 20, 2019. Celebrate the anniversary of the day Neil Armstrong took his historic first step on the Moon at the Rocket City Summer Fest Concert at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. They are combining celebrations around the world to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Mission with a concert in the shadow of Huntsville’s iconic Saturn V replica. In July 2019, the Rocket City will commemorate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11’s historic journey to the moon and look to the future of space exploration with a celebration of America’s Next Great Ship, NASA’s Space Launch System. Rockets on Parade is a way to note our city’s ongoing contributions to the American space program with designs specific to the Rocket City, the monumental achievements of the Apollo program, the future of space travel or through unique artistic expression.
