Your guide to Christmas tree farms across the Valley

(Source: Mountain High Christmas Tree Farm)

We will be the first to admit that pulling a pre-lit Christmas tree out of the garage, attic or closet is pretty darn convenient. However, nothing quite smells more like the holiday season than a freshly cut tree in your home.

While a pop-up tent or hardware store may be able to hook you up with a tree, why not go all out and cut down your own at a Christmas tree farm? Plus, the trip makes for a great photo op with the family!

We have compiled a list of popular, and a few up-and-coming, Christmas tree farms that are within driving distances for anyone in the Tennessee Valley. Keep in mind that most farms do not operate on normal business hours. We have included links to websites and business phone numbers so you can check ahead before making the trip.

Another tip! Many farms are cash or check only. Call ahead if you need to check on purchasing options.
