Celebrate Cullman’s German Heritage During Oktoberfest

One of North Alabama's most anticipated events every year!

Cullman Oktoberfest is the city’s annual celebration of its rich German heritage and one of North Alabama’s most anticipated events every year. During Oktoberfest, the whole community and surrounding areas come together to enjoy fun events like wagon rides, live music, kids’ activities, and much, much more!

And of course, no Oktoberfest would be complete without German food and a Biergarten!

This year’s event has been scaled back a little from years past due to COVID-19, but you can expect just as much fun as always. And precautions have been taken to ensure that everyone stays as safe as possible while still having a blast.

As always, you’re encouraged to dress the part, and this year, even your furry friend can join in on the fun.

This year’s celebration features the first-ever “OktoFURfest,” which will have a dog costume contest, wiener dog race, and tons of pet-themed merchandise for sale.

The 2020 Cullman Oktoberfest is a completely free event and takes place Friday, October 2nd & Saturday, October 3rd. So bring your face covering and maintain your social distance as you celebrate Cullman’s German heritage!
