Wave farewell to Taco Bell’s most cult-status menu items

We cover a lot of Taco Bell-related news here, we get it. That’s why it is with a heavy heart that we announce that some of the Bell’s cherished menu items are going away very, very soon.

Starting September 12, say goodbye to:

Chips and salsa

Beefy Mini Quesadilla

Chipotle Chicken Loaded Griller

Double Decker Taco

Double Tostada

Power Menu Burrito

XXL Grilled Stuft Burrito

And in what may be the unkindest cut of all, especially to a style of customer that haunts Taco Bell after a certain hour:

Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco

Fiery Doritos Locos Taco

That’s right. R.I.P. Doritos tacos. We hardly knew ye. If you want to experience the chip dust on your hard shell from this point forward, you will have to dump a bag of Doritos into the taco yourself.

All this comes at the same time as Taco Bell unveiling their “new menu look”, which is, uh…clean looking? Is that a compliment?

It’s a change that reads less “Midnight club party” and more “Baby-proofed living room”. Guess we all have to grow up sometime.
