The 2018 Huntsville - Madison County Veterans Parade


Tune in to watch the second largest Veterans Day Parade in the United States! More than 120 parade floats, bands, and other entries celebrate the historic contributions of veterans to our country’s freedom. Join WAFF 48’s Liz Hurley and our guest Veteran and Parade Organizer, Max Bennett, as they host the annual event.

The Wall That Heals, a mobile, three-quarter-scale replica of The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C.

Cullman Veteran's Day Celebration

Riders fly with a veteran pilot for six to eight minutes. For an even more intense ride, spectators can ride in an AH-1F Cobra attack helicopter.

Come out for an evening of magic, wonder, music and fun! All to benefit the Veterans of North Alabama! We suggest wearing costumes… as there will be a costume contest! We will have an awesome DJ. As well as a photographer on site. Tickets are $35 each or $45 per couple

We Salute at the VBC

We’re delighted to celebrate the men and women who have served, and we invite you to join us! The centerpiece of this special Pops program is Doug Fordyce’s Love and War, which underscores readings of real wartime letters from throughout U.S. history.

13th Annual YMCA Veterans Prayer Breakfast

Patriotic music will lift the spirits as we lift up our Military heroes in gratitude and with prayer. As the first event of Veterans Week in the Tennessee Valley, the breakfast adopts the theme “Courage, Sacrifice and Duty, Honoring our Military Veterans.” Doors will open at 6:45 a.m. for check-in with the program beginning promptly at 7:30 a.m.
